Against the stunning backdrop of the stunning venue Columbia Beach Resort, Despina and Antonis celebrated the most beautiful day of their lives, surrounded by their loved ones and a setting filled with effortless elegance. Their wedding ceremony took place at the charming little chapel of Columbia Beach Resort, with Paper Flowers Cyprus curating a fairytale-worthy scene! The décor was designed in soft pastel tones, with the bride’s bouquet overflowing with white peonies, while countless candles scattered around the space created the dreamiest ambiance. But what truly stole the show was the breathtaking semi-moon flower arch, framing the cocktail area and offering the perfect backdrop for unforgettable photos. So unbelievably pretty!

«It was November when I was traveling to Athens for a conference, and Antonis happened to be on the same flight, heading there for an architecture seminar. Because of my anxiety (fear of flying), I had a panic attack, and they moved me to first class where there was more space — and Antonis was sitting right next to me. He tried to calm me down by talking about his own experiences, and that’s how our connection slowly began. He asked if we could one day go for coffee (and we did), and from that moment, we became each other’s person — the one we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with. A few years later, he proposed on a beautiful beach under the stars, with the moon shining above us and the two of us filled with love and happiness.»

«I was following the greek site Love4Weddings for wedding decoration ideas, and through the site, I discovered Paper Flowers and Columbia Beach Resort.»

«The wedding dress was a unique creation by my mother, in a baroque style, entirely hand-sewn with a special neckline design. From the knees down, the fabric became sheer, and the hem was embroidered with patterns from the fabric.»

The wedding decoration was created by Paper Flowers Cyprus. The bridal bouquet was a composition of white peonies, and overall the decoration style was simple, with pastel tones and a romantic atmosphere, complemented by lots of candles throughout the space. What really stood out was the semi-moon arch, fully covered in flowers, which decorated the cocktail area.

«These moments are unique and special, and the only thing you need to do is enjoy every single one, even those that might bring some stress. Let these experiences be filled with joy, excitement, and love, because this is the beginning of a new life—and the way it starts is the way we hope it will continue and ultimately be fulfilled.»

«Our favorite moment of the wedding was when we entered the reception hall dancing with our two daughters.»
