Trust us when we say—you won’t be able to take your eyes off this beautiful wedding in Athens. From the very first moment, every detail of Efi and Antonis’ special day felt like it was lifted straight out of a fairytale. For the most important day of his life, Antonis looked effortlessly elegant in a classic black suit by Giannetos, exuding timeless charm and sophistication. But all eyes were on the bride, who absolutely stunned in a romantic ballgown wedding dress with delicate straps and dreamy 3D floral appliqués—a gown that perfectly captured the essence of ethereal beauty. From the emotional ceremony to the glamorous reception that followed, every part of the celebration was infused with love, style, and unforgettable moments. This wedding was nothing short of magical, and trust us—you won’t want to miss a single detail!

«We met during our university years, both studying economics. We started off as friends in our first year and by the second year we became a couple. We’ve been together since we were 19—11 years now—and have a little girl together. The proposal came during my pregnancy. The ring was meant to be given on a trip, but due to the fatigue, sleepiness, and symptoms of pregnancy, Antonis ended up proposing on my birthday at our Christmas-decorated home (on January 13th). Just the two of us, no big fuss—yet such a full and beautiful moment, in a home filled with love, a dog, and a baby growing in my belly.»

«The wedding and christening decor—church, car, candles, themed christening elements, guestbook table and reception tables—was all designed by Xloi Flowers. Since it was both a wedding and a christening with a Cinderella-inspired theme, we chose a color palette of 50% white, 30% pink, and 20% baby blue. My bridal bouquet featured eucalyptus, brunia, classic roses, a special twenty-petal rose, astilbe, and a unique soft blue flower I had never seen before, but it matched the overall palette perfectly. It also tied in beautifully with my light blue bridal gown and my daughter’s matching Cinderella-style dress.»

«The rest of the floral elements—candles, the church archway, the car—were adorned with greenery, pink hydrangeas, baby blue roses, and lisianthus. The arch at the church entrance was especially breathtaking. We also had a custom circle sign with our daughter’s name surrounded by flowers at the guestbook table, which added such a sweet, personalized touch.»

While planning, I was searching for checklists, tips, and how to organize everything. That’s when I discovered the greek site Love4Weddings, and it truly helped me structure things clearly.

«My wedding dress felt like it was straight out of a fairytale. Regal, dreamy, and unique—especially because of the light blue details. I’d never seen anything like it. It was far from the typical classic white gown, and that’s what made it so special. Both my dress and my daughter’s matching little gown looked just like Cinderella’s—romantic, elegant, and filled with magic.»

«The most unforgettable moments of the day were definitely our entrances. Our daughter made her grand entrance first, riding alone in a remote-controlled mini car—it was something no one had seen before! Sweet, hilarious, and incredibly adorable. Then, as a couple, we walked in to a breathtaking waterfall of fireworks. When we reached our guests, we stood before them in a semi-circle layout and greeted everyone with beaming smiles. It was the most spectacular moment of the entire day—something I had never seen at another wedding. Another emotional moment was dancing with my father after our first dance as husband and wife.»

«One of the most magical scenes was during our evening entrance. Seeing the amphitheater-style table setup softly glowing in the candlelight was a dream. Each table had a round mirror centerpiece with three asymmetrical, tall, silver and clear glass candleholders, plus three jar candles and a floral vase in the center. Watching all those little flames twinkle in the night created the romantic atmosphere I had always imagined for my wedding.»

«My advice to any bride currently planning her wedding is this: start early. Even if you book everything a year ahead, there’s always a little chaos at the end—final payments, details to confirm, last-minute adjustments. But above all, don’t let stress take over. Especially not on the day itself—it’s one of a kind, and you won’t get to relive it. I was told this so many times, but I still didn’t manage to fully relax until halfway through the reception. My nerves kept me from enjoying the early moments. But I’ll always remember what someone once told me, and it’s the best advice I can pass on: whatever goes wrong, your guests won’t even notice. They don’t know what was supposed to happen, so don’t let it ruin your joy.»
