Andria and Roy’s story began back in their college days and blossomed into a deep, loving relationship that was beautifully sealed with a romantic wedding in Nicosia, where their happiness radiated in every glance and smile. The couple chose a boho chic theme, featuring coral roses, anthuriums, eucalyptus and pampas grass, which added a unique touch to both the church and the reception space, thanks to the creative team at Anthopnoi. Andria’s entrance into the church was absolutely stunning, as she wore an airy off-the-shoulder wedding gown by Complice – Stalo Theodorou, with light tulle and delicate lace details that perfectly highlighted her romantic side. Roy was waiting for her, holding a one-of-a-kind bridal bouquet filled with beautiful flowers in earthy tones. The celebration continued with a wonderful reception that echoed the same boho style, and a special highlight was their two-tiered cake, adorned with fresh flowers by Aroma Vanilias, which the couple cut together with beaming smiles as they began this exciting new chapter of their life.

«We met at university, in a class we never imagined would change our lives. Eight years later, the most romantic proposal happened on a rooftop in Malta, with the whole city glowing below us. There, surrounded by flowers, champagne, and the magic of the moment, he got down on one knee and proposed. The most moving part? Just then, it started to drizzle, as if the sky itself wanted to be a part of our moment.»

My wedding dress was created by my beloved Stalo Theodorou. What can I say? It was incredible, from the details to the way it hugged my body. I felt like it was made just for me. Even though I had pictured something more classic, the moment I put it on, I just knew it was “the one”. It expressed my personality so clearly, and it’s what inspired me to give our wedding a more boho vibe.

«Our wedding decor was handled by Anthopnoi and the wonderful Mrs. Militsa, who from the very first moment embraced every idea I had and made it even better. My bridal bouquet matched the flowers on our invitations perfectly, a detail that made all the difference. Some of the flowers were anthuriums, hypericum, English roses and pampas grass. The whole wedding was decorated in a boho style, with natural colors and blooms that fit so beautifully with the venue. At the church, lush floral columns on both sides, filled with daisies, roses and so many other flowers, made the space feel both impressive and elegant. At the estate, the table settings were a blend of boho and romance, with woven napkins, oil lamps, lush flowers and little touches like a tiny bouquet of gypsophila tucked into each napkin, making every table unique.»

«My best advice for any bride planning her wedding is simple: enjoy the whole process, from organizing to the wedding day itself. Planning is part of the experience, so embrace it and make your wedding truly yours, true to who you are as a couple. And no matter what happens on the day, approach it with a relaxed attitude, because your wedding day should never be a source of stress. It’s meant to be the most beautiful day of your life.»

Love4Weddings was a guiding light for us as we planned. Through their articles, décor ideas and real wedding stories, we managed to shape a clear picture of what goes into organizing a wedding. It helped us find vendors and made us feel we weren’t alone in this big project! Even though most of our vendors were recommended by people who had already worked with them, Love4Weddings really helped us feel confident in our choices because we got to see real photos and read the impressions of other couples. I found so many ideas that helped me make every detail feel more special and personal.

«It’s hard to pick just one favorite moment from our wedding, because every part of the day had its own kind of magic, from those first tears as we got ready to the incredible party. But if I had to choose, I’d say the moment Roy and I met at the church and embraced. That first look was filled with emotion, relief, and so much love.»
