Marilena and Stefanos chose to celebrate their wedding in the breathtaking stone-built Monemvasia, filling this spring day with love, emotion, and vibrant colors! Marilena’s bridal look was nothing short of stunning. She wore an elegant Demetrios gown crafted from crepe fabric in a flattering flair silhouette with a deep V neckline, an exquisite sheer back and delicate embroidered lace details that beautifully highlighted her femininity. The wedding decoration was simply enchanting. The church was adorned by Aleiferopoulos Flowers in warm tones of orange, ivory and green with roses, eucalyptus and dried citrus fruits adding both fragrance and charm to the setting. The same warmth and natural beauty carried through to the reception at the gorgeous Ktima Tsafatinou. Don’t miss the lovely details of this dreamy Monemvasia wedding!

«We have known each other since we were 8 years old, he was our very first childhood crush! He lived permanently in Crete and I was in Athens, and those summer holidays brought us close! Since then we kept in touch as friends. My family and I continued visiting that place in the following years, so we maintained a very good bond and stayed connected. Until the moment we met again and our relationship turned into something more. The wedding proposal was like a fairytale in Germany, at Neuschwanstein Castle. The presence of the castle itself was so unique and meaningful and it was one of the reasons why we chose to marry in a place like Monemvasia, apart from the fact that it also happens to be where my family comes from.»

«My wedding dress was by Demetrios and it was exactly what I had always dreamed of! In fact, it was the very first one I tried on from the selection they brought me!»

«I visited the greek wedding site Love4Weddings site especially in the beginning, when I needed inspiration and ideas to shape the concept that truly represented us!»

We completely trusted Aleiferopoulos Flowers, who from the very first moment understood the style and color palette we wanted to create! The arrangement in cappuccino, pink, and orange shades (some of the most distinctive ones), combined with delicate slices of dried oranges, was the perfect choice for the castle of Monemvasia and its hues, as well as for the season we got married (March 1st).

«Our favorite moment of the wedding was arriving at the church with music playing, surrounded by all our loved ones, right at the moment I was meeting the man of my life!»

My advice to a bride now planning her wedding is that this whole journey taught me the more secure and comfortable you feel with the professionals you choose, the more you will be able to truly live the here and now of this once-in-a-lifetime moment!
