A gorgeous summer day set the scene for Asja and Jiro’s beautiful destination wedding in Greece, a country that, as the bride shared, «We may not have Greek blood, but Greece has our hearts. Over the years, we’ve gathered so many sun-soaked, joy-filled memories there that it felt natural, almost inevitable, to celebrate our wedding in this beautiful, sunny place». The styling by Nikol Wedding Moments was truly stunning, full of color and freshness. The floral design combined vibrant orange and peach roses with soft blue delphiniums, pink hydrangeas, golden solidago, and delicate chamomile, while eucalyptus added a lovely, aromatic touch. Guest tables featured a natural chic vibe, with small glass vases holding simple yet charming arrangements of gerberas, lilies, daisies, and little wildflowers, creating a cozy atmosphere that paired perfectly with the wooden décor. We can’t wait to share all these wonderful details with you!

«Jiro and I first crossed paths behind the bar of an Italian restaurant while we were both students, the kind of place where the smell of espresso clung to your clothes and you could carry three Aperol Spritz in one hand without spilling a drop. At first, I was actually better friends with his two brothers, who also worked there. But little by little, through countless late-night shifts and shared activities, Jiro and I became close. Our friendship lasted for years, so much so that we even ended up living together in a student flat share. Somewhere between fighting over the last cookie and celebrating exam victories, friendship turned into something more, and we became a couple. Fast forward to a trip to the gorgeous island of Paros: Jiro proposed to me on a boat, surrounded by friends and it was the first time I’d ever seen him so visibly excited. I was over the moon, and it was wonderful that we got to share that magical, heart-thumping moment right there with the people we love. We may not be Greek by blood, but Greece has our hearts. Over the years, we’ve collected so many sun-soaked, joy-filled memories there that it felt only natural, inevitable, really, that our wedding would be celebrated in this beautiful, sunny country.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is that wedding planning comes with a lot of details and if you try to control every single one down to the millimeter, you’ll drive yourself absolutely mad. Perfection is a lovely idea, but it’s not worth losing your sanity over. One of the best decisions we made was finding wedding planners who truly “got” us – people on our wavelength who made the whole process fun instead of stressful.

«Our wedding decorations were a true team effort between our wonderful wedding planner, Nikol, her talented crew, and us. I’ve always loved design, so of course, I wanted to be right in the middle of it all. When it came to flowers and the church, I happily handed the reins to Nikol, as that’s her domain and she absolutely nailed it. I had dreamed of colorful yet minimalist and elegant arrangements and what she created went beyond anything I could have imagined. It was pure perfection. The restaurant for our reception was already gorgeous, so we didn’t want to reinvent the wheel. We kept the look natural, minimalist and effortlessly stylish — very “us.” And because no evening is truly magical without candlelight, we made sure they were everywhere, casting that soft, romantic glow I love. I poured my heart into designing the menus, place cards and cocktail menus myself, keeping them in the same style as our invitations so everything felt harmonious. But my favorite part? The way Nikol’s team creative magic blended with ours. It felt like a beautiful dance of ideas, and together we created something unforgettable. In my eyes, it was perfect, and to us, it will always be the most beautiful wedding in the world.»

«Our wedding planner lifted a huge weight off our shoulders, so we could focus on what really mattered: celebrating with our friends and families and actually enjoying the journey. So here’s our advice: keep the joy in the planning, connect with your planners, laugh at the little mishaps and remember to have fun. After all, if all goes well, you only get to do this once in a lifetime, so you might as well make the process just as memorable as the big day itself.»

«My favorite part of the wedding? Our first dance and the party that followed. We’d spent months practicing a fun mashup for our first dance and it was one of the best decisions we made. Honestly, I think every couple should do it, not just because it’s a blast, but because those dance lessons are such a sweet way to reconnect during the sometimes hectic, slightly stressful whirlwind of wedding planning. That first dance wasn’t just a performance – it was the spark that lit the fuse. The moment it ended, the party officially began. Up until we reached the reception venue, I’d been carrying a fair amount of tension, making sure every detail went to plan. But once the “official” parts were behind us and I had a plate of delicious food in front of me, my favorite people all around, and music in the air, I finally exhaled. That’s when the real celebration began. And what a celebration it was. Our friends and family love dancing just as much as we do and with such a beautifully multicultural group, the playlist was an incredible mix of sounds from all over the world. Watching everyone from different cultures, speaking different languages, connect on the dance floor through pure rhythm and joy was unforgettable. For me, it was the perfect combination: the romance of our first dance and the wild, happy energy of the party that followed.»

«Some brides find the wedding dress the moment they slip into it: the tears flow, everyone gasps, the music swells. My story? Not quite like that. First, I brought way too many people dress shopping. Rookie mistake. Instead of hearing my own opinion, I got an avalanche of everyone else’s. “Lace!” “More sparkle!” “Try a ball gown!” By the end, I was so dizzy from all the “shoulds” that I just wanted to run away in denim. Eventually, I picked my first dress because it simply worked: elegant, lightweight, weather-appropriate and it had hidden pockets (the holy grail of bridal features). It hugged my body in all the right places, skipped the ruffles and floral explosions (not my style) and had a subtle sheen that caught the light beautifully from day to night. Then came dress number two. I found it later, almost by accident and, not to start drama, but I might have loved it more. I wore it to the party, and it was perfect for dancing until morning: a simple linen dress with delicate details, so comfortable I could have worn it forever. Best of all, I can actually wear it again, it’s going to be my favorite summer dress for years to come.»
