«We met through a mutual friend in New York City and our first date lasted 45 days due to covid. He proposed in Athens near the Acropolis at night time, one year before our wedding date.»

«For my wedding decoration I chose white roses and baby’s-breath as my bouquet flowers as I liked the combination of the two together. We kept our wedding decorations to a minimal but clean look. For the ceremony chairs, we had a baby’s-breath bouquet on each chair closest to the aisle, we had an arch with a mix of greenery and different white flowers. For the reception, we had many candles around the pool and for the dinner centerpiece it was a wreath of baby’s-breath, mixed with a few white roses and different candle heights.»

«I would say our wedding ceremony was my favorite part as we got to share intimate vows with a small group of guests (70 people). They were funny, emotional, and very meaningful.»

The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is that the bride and groom need to act like the guest of honor, not like a host. Once we switched our mentalities to that concept during wedding planning, we were more selective with our guest count, church versus non-religious ceremony, run-of-show, vendors, etc. We ended up choosing how to plan our special day that was tailored to us.

«My wedding dress was from Rosa Clara based in Barcelona. I went through hundreds of their options but I knew the one I went with was the only one I fell in love with right away. It had beautiful flower lace for the corset and the veil was pinned to each shoulder.»
