Ally and Johnny’s stunning wedding will capture your heart from the very first moment! The romantic proposal took place during an unforgettable trip to Greece, and from that point on, the couple knew they wanted to return to this magical place for their wedding day. «It was so wonderful to be married in the country where my family is from. My dad has instilled so much of the Greek culture in us, and we could not have imagined having our wedding anywhere else in the world. From the beautiful landscape, wonderful people, the best food! Being surrounded with so much love – all of these things made for the most perfect day.,» the beautiful bride shares with us. Wearing a chic wedding gown by Justin Alexander and surrounded by elegant white florals such as roses, orchids, anthuriums and baby’s breat that gracefully accented with touches of shimmering gold, the day was nothing short of enchanting. My wedding dress accidentally matched the vibe perfectly. A-line with floral lace overlay on top and a sheer low-cut back. The skirt was tulle and had the same lace floral overlay in certain places. A small train, not huge but enough to make a statement in photos. Simple but with enough detail to add some feminine touches. It was so comfortable but I did end up changing into something a little more fun and easier to dance in for the reception.

«People talk about their weddings and how it was the best day of their lives, and this truly was! But it would not have been possible without Maria from Ineventive and all of the wonderful vendors she recommended. Everything was perfect. It also would not have been possible without all of our family and friends traveling halfway across the world for our destination wedding. I am Greek on my fathers side, and it was so wonderful to be married in the country where my family is from. He has instilled so much of the Greek culture in us, and we could not have imagined having our wedding anywhere else in the world. From the beautiful landscape, wonderful people, the best food! Being surrounded with so much love – all of these things made for the most perfect day.»

«We were introduced through a mutual friend. We met at a popular summertime bar at the beach near our house. We did not have a proper ‘first date’ but rather spent many days and nights together at the beach. I had a summer rental with my best friend and Johnny spent every weekend at our house. It was summer filled with beach, dinners and concerts by the water. Our love for all things beach (which, where are from in New Jersey is a very popular destination – ‘The Jersey Shore’) brought us together. We have been inseparable ever since! We were not in any rush to get engaged and after 7 years together, Johnny asked me to marry him. It was during a family vacation to Greece, I am Greek on my father’s side, that Johnny proposed. My parents, siblings and sister-in-law were with us and they did a very good job of keeping the secret. It wasn’t until the very end of our 12 day trip. We were staying in a small town on the coast of Crete and went to watch the sunset one evening. He had my brother set up a blanket with wine glasses and when we walked to the spot, I thought it was for someone else! I said, ‘Oh how nice! Let’s go over here so we don’t bother whoever that might be’ He said he was caught off guard, I obviously had no clue what was going on so we kept walking. I then asked him to take some photos of me, I was wearing one of my favorite dresses. So he did and when I had my back turned he got down on one knee and ask me to marry him. It was a beautiful setting and I was so surprised. I knew it would happen one day – but didn’t know it would be then! Especially after a week with my family, I still don’t know how everyone kept their cool being in on the big secret. We celebrated that evening at a wonderful local restaurant. Then, 2 years later, decided to go back to Greece for our wedding!»

«Simple, slightly modern, elegant is the vibe I wanted for the wedding. The Island venue are so beautiful on their own, you don’t need to add much in my opinion. We went with all white florals. I thought it would be a perfect contract against the green of the venue. My bouquet had different variations of roses and some orchids for that modern touch. The flowers for the rest of the venue was similar but with white anthurium and baby’s breath. In some places, like my bridesmaids bouquets and along the aisle, were just clouds of baby’s breath. I know they’re seen as a filler flower, but all bunched together was very simple and beautiful.»
