With the waves gently lapping the shore and a soft breeze weaving through pampas grass and muted florals, Jacqueline and Yakir’s beachside wedding was nothing short of a dream. With only a few months to plan, the couple entrusted their vision to Vassiliki Creations, who brought to life every detail of their chic bohemian fantasy. As the bride shared: «Being that we only had a few months to plan the wedding, I gave my wedding planner Vassiliki Creations a couple key words and free reign. I told her elegant, boho, chic beach wedding and she hit every mark and then some!» And hit the mark Vassiliki Creations did. The ceremony space featured breathtaking floral arches of pampas grass, roses, hydrangeas, lysianthos and dried leaves in delicate lilac hues, perfectly framing the sea behind. Guests were greeted by a charming “shoes here, vows there” sign, setting the relaxed and romantic tone for the day. The celebration continued with a boho-style lounge setup on the beach, complete with cozy carpets and candles for welcome drinks and appetizers. Later, guests dined at elegantly styled tables adorned with dreamy blooms and soft lighting, creating a magical ambiance as the sun set. Enjoy every detail!

«Yakir and I met in the fall of 2022 at a music and arts festival in Florida. We got to know each other since we were camped next to each other for the week and had some mutual friends. We got along swimmingly and stayed in touch afterwads via social media. A few weeks later I invited him to come to NJ to visit, and soon after that we entered a long distance relationship.Months of flying back and forth between Florida and NJ ensued, and in the spring of 2023, Yakir decided to make the leap andmove in. Our relationship progressed and on St Patrick’s Day 2024 Yakir proposed. I immediately said yes as I knew that I hadfound my person. We had already planned a 2 week trip around Greece for the end of May, and so that point we decided wewould tack on a wedding. He has family that lives in a nearby country, and it would be easier for them to attend if we had it in Greece. We also knew how beautiful the country and culture is and wanted to celebrate our love there.»

We also had a boho style seating area with carpets and candles laid out on the beach for welcome drinks and appetizers. The tablescapes and lighting for the dinner was absolutely gorgeous, and also included roses, hydrangeas,lysianthos and pampas grass.»

«We first crossed paths at a club in Switzerland. Initially, he approached me while I was with friends, but our interaction was brief. Later that evening, he returned, requesting to borrow my phone under the pretext of searching for his lost friend in the crowd. Little did I know, he cleverly called himself using my phone to obtain my number. The day after the party, he called me, unaware of my name, but I was impressed by his resourcefulness and the courage to reach out. Despite declining his initial invitation for a date on a Sunday, he persistently called me every day after work, proposing outings until I finally agreed, and the rest is history. As for his proposal, it unfolded in the Dubai desert during a picturesque sunset. It was his Christmas gift to me – a desert safari featuring a hot-air balloon ride, creating a beautifully romantic setting for him to pop the question. », the bride shared with us.

«We met four years ago in Deptford, London where we both lived. Nick proposed in Paris – he organised a mystery trip to Paris and arranged a trip to the Louvre. He proposed in the gardens outside the Louvre, followed by Champagne in a bar nearby.», the bride shared with us.

«We wanted a simple, rustic but stylish decor, that was Greek inspired. We went for an olive leaf and white flower theme, that was used across the bouquet, wedding arch and table decorations at the venue. The olive motif was used throughout the wedding details – our invitations, bespoke paper fans, seating plan and small bottles of local Naxos alcohol that we offered to guests: this was also one of our favourite details of the wedding decorations. Additionally, we loved the set-up of the beach wedding. Another highlight of the decoration was the way some fancy dress, lights and glow sticks for the party had been laid out and decorated alongside the desert table.»

«The whole day was magical, but for both of us there are three moments stand out: when Lauren walked down the aisle on the beach; exchanging wedding vows; and the party.»

«It was by a bespoke French designed – Mademoiselle de Guise and was a two piece dress: The top was a lace top with flower motifs and open back, with a plain A-line silk skirt. I wore it with a fine veil during the ceremony. The dress was adapted before the wedding to fit my pregnancy. »

The bride shared with us: “Harry proposed during lockdown 2021 on my 28th birthday. The national lockdown meant we weren’t able to go out to restaurants or bars, so we had planned a night in and a takeaway to celebrate my birthday. To make it feel special we decided to dress up a little, so while I was upstairs putting on a nice dress and some make up, Harry was downstairs decorating the lounge with balloons, candles and photos. Once I had finished getting ready, I came downstairs to Harry on one knee – a total surprise!”

“We went for a simple, white, classic theme wedding which I feel was really elegant and not too over the top. We decided on olive green bridesmaid dresses and beige/sand colors suits for the groom and groomsmen which we felt would complement the setting at Coral Residence with the background of the sandy beach and greenery of the trees. We chose flowers to compliment this and decided on a bouquet of white roses and green foliage – the also had the same theme for the arch and top table runner. We had lots of comments on the large LED Mr & Mrs sign which added a bit of a “wow” factor to the evening when lit up, and I personally really loved the pillar candles and silver beaded charger plates which, although they were only finer details, really added a nice touch to the whole set up.”

“It’s so hard to choose my favorite moment but I would have the say I really loved hearing all of the amazing speeches, they were better than I ever could have imagined. I also loved sitting down for dinner and reflecting on what a wonderful day we’d had so far and looking around the room and taking in the fact that all of our favorite people were all there to celebrate our day with us (also the food was delicious!). For my husband the best moment was seeing me walk down the aisle and the reception partying with all our closest friends and family.”

“My wedding dress was fit and flare style with a sweetheart, strapless neckline by Elysee. I especially loved the long, full train and also the sheer back detail which I thought was a unique detail that I hadn’t seen on many dresses before.”

Bride’s Advice: “I would say, as hard as it is, try not to stress about the whole day too much beforehand. When it comes to the actual day, if there does happen to be anything that goes wrong, you really don’t care about it at all as you are just having to much of a special time to worry about anything. It’s like nothing can ruin you day, no matter how much you might think it will during the lead up!”

“Stuart proposed whilst taking a boat ride around Ithaca (where we had our first ever holiday together). He stopped at Kedros Beach and popped the question whilst still on the boat”, the bride shared with us.

“We chose roses, peonies and carnations in colors of pinks and peach with draping green foliage. We had an arch on the beach, decorated in white voile, with two bouquets of flowers which complimented the bouquets. We had pale pink and beige floor cushions for the guests to sit on whilst the ceremony took place. The wedding breakfast decor had a table runner made up of the same flowers we had for the ceremony… and tea lights. The chairs had pale pink bows attached to them. We enjoyed the whole day. It was just perfect!”

“Getting off the boat at the beach, and being greeted by my son, to do the honor of walking me along the beach to my future husband were some of my favorite moments. And seeing Stuart and my family waiting for me. Another favorite moment was of myself and Stuart saying ‘I do’”.

We are all about beach weddings today, and this tropical wedding in Lefkada has absolutely captured our attention! Katia and Joshua’s Greek island wedding was filled with the prettiest tropical blooms by Gouriotis Flowers that beautifully decorated the floral arch, bridal bouquet and reception tables – all artfully planned and designed by Lefkas Weddings. “We wanted a combination of sailing and Polynesian vibes and our wedding planner did not disappoint”, Katia shared with us and we cannot help but fall in love with every single detail from this wedding! The bride shared with us: “We got married in fall in Lefkas, Greece. We are Joshua and Katia, I’m from Cape Verde and Joshua is from the Netherland. We met 11 years ago in Cape Verde in a restaurant where I was working as waitress. Joshua had left Netherland on his sailing yacht to sail around the world and he stopped in São Vicente, Cape Verde, before crossing the Atlantic Ocean to go to Brazil. We did flirt a bit but not much came of it, until few months later when he came back to S. Vicente to work as a captain on a charter boat. Then he needed a hostess to help him on board and I just lost my job at the time and so he offered me the job. We worked 1 year together and during this period our relationship flourished into something more serious. As time when by he starts missing his boat at the traveling life so he made the decision to go back and resume his sailing adventure. He then asked me to join him on his adventure to sail around the world with him, and so I did! Our journey together onboard Hope (the name of our boat) started in Brazil, then on to Caribbean islands, the pacific, Southeast Asia, Mediterranean and back to the Netherland, where we choose to settle down after 6 years of great adventures sailing around the world. The name of our boat was Hope and we also name our daughter Hope! He proposed to me in Faro, Portugal in a small harbor where he have been with our boat when he start the sailing adventure”.

“The Polynesia was our favorite place when we were sailing. For us the most beautiful place on earth, we love the people, the islands, the nature, the culture, it is haven on earth. And so our wedding was inspired on that. We wanted a combination of sailing and Polynesian vibes and our wedding planner did not disappoint! The wedding was on a private beach in the island of Lefkada, Greece. We were wed by a Captain, next to a small pier with a fishing boat tied to it, and on the background of the arch a beautiful turquoise beach. The dress code for our guests was Beach Casual and shoes was optional. My dress was a floral lace mermaid dress with a bit of cleavage and long tail, by Anna Sorrano. The bouquet, the arch and the restaurant were decorated with tropical leaves and flowers like Laceleaf, Heliconia, paradise flower, Monstera ect“.

“Tables centrepieces were a small tray with sand, on it a candle and some shells, the napkins were tied with a rope similar to old fashion sailing rope. We had a 3-course menu and the food was AMAZING. There were seafood dishes, vegetarian dishes, Greek food and everything tasted amazing. To make the evening even more special and beautiful we were blessed with a beautiful full moon that night. Our play list did not disappoint either, we had a mix of classic disco hits, afro, kizomba and much more, music for all taste and crowd. Boat, beach, tropic islands, sea are the key words in our love store, so we wanted a wedding decor that showed that. The wedding was in a private beach, decorated with tropic leaves and flowers, centrepiece was a small tray with sand and some shells… the napkin was tied with a rope similar to an old fashion sailing rope and as memory to the guest a small boat shape key chain…”

The bride’s favorite moment: “Walking down the aisle and seeing our loved ones there celebrating our love with us… I just burst in tears. We saw our wedding in Greece as a holiday to celebrate our love, so we act like we were on holiday while our wedding planner would take care of things…. So, get a wedding planner and go have a cocktail on the beach”.
