Cindy and David’s wedding at Island Resort on the Athens Riviera was a true white dream, filled with modern and sophisticated details that stole our hearts from the very first moment! The team at MM Events curated every element of the decor, choosing elegant white hydrangeas, roses, and orchids in breathtaking arrangements by Flowers by Zery. As Cindy shared with us, «I followed the greek site Love4Weddings especially during the planning of the decor and the ideas and images from other real weddings helped shape the style I had always dreamed of.» The ceremony space, set against the stunning backdrop of the sea, was simply magical. Four striking floral garlands hung from the ceiling, while soft white wisteria cascaded gracefully, adding romance and a sense of ethereal beauty. At the reception tables, natural arrangements of white roses paired with an abundance of candles created an effortlessly chic atmosphere, beautifully complemented by the exquisite flavors from Deipnosofistirion Catering. David looked dashing in a stylish suit by Giannetos, perfectly in tune with the wedding’s aesthetic, while Fotis Sid Photography captured every precious moment, transporting us to a fairytale setting.

«We met at the university, but we truly grew close during David’s first year working in Paris. The distance actually brought us closer together, and a year later we moved in together in Berlin. So in a way, where it all truly began—in Paris—that’s where the proposal happened too. He had planned a dinner at a romantic restaurant, but about 100 meters before we got there, he changed his mind. We sat in the park at Place des Vosges, and there, in the most simple and genuine way, he got down on one knee and proposed. There was no need to think about my answer. Because we’re more than just in love, we’re each other’s strongest foundation.»

«My shoes were satin platform heels decorated with crystals on the heels from Gina London—a final touch of elegance that added sparkle and completed my bridal look.»

«My wedding dress was created by Maria Konidi. It was the first and only dress I tried on. I knew from the very beginning that it was mine. That day we tested the placement of the crystals on the neckline and shoulders. By the next fitting, the dress had already taken shape and I knew it had become completely mine. It was a long A-line dress made of heavy satin fabric in a soft cream white shade that matched my skin tone perfectly. The neckline and shoulders had subtle crystals that gave it just the right amount of sparkle and luxury. It fastened in the back with delicate buttons and had a stunning long overskirt, which I took off for the party so I could dance more freely. It was exactly how I had imagined it: elegant, timeless, full of character, yet practical enough to let me enjoy every moment of the day. Maria’s team was incredibly professional, and she was present at every fitting, guiding me with care and confidence so I could feel completely like myself in this dress.»

The wedding decor followed an all-white palette, with key elements being hydrangeas, roses, and orchids, creating a look that was both elegant and timeless. At the reception entrance, a large welcome mirror with our monogram became a popular spot where guests loved snapping their photos. On mirrored bases, transparent stones paired with floral arrangements of hydrangeas and roses added a sense of shine and refinement.

«It’s hard to pick just one favorite moment, because the entire day was filled with intense and beautiful emotions. But if I had to choose, it would be the moment right after the ceremony, when all the nerves had passed, and we realized we were now married. We looked around and saw all the people we love celebrating with us, having an amazing time. It was a feeling of completeness and happiness that’s impossible to put into words.»

«My bridal bouquet was small and delicate, a mix of white roses and lily of the valley, in perfect harmony with the overall look. On the reception tables, natural arrangements of white roses and lots of candles created a warm and inviting atmosphere. That’s also where the favors awaited: a white infinity rose paired with sugared almonds—timeless and elegant, just like the whole evening. The sweetheart table stood out with lush floral designs, while the fairy lights above added a soft, magical glow to the space. The view and the venue’s elegance enchanted both us and our guests, making the day feel even more special.»

«The ceremony space, with the sea in the background, was magical. Four flower garlands hung from the ceiling, while white wisteria floated gently, adding romance and a sense of ethereal beauty.»

«I followed Love4Weddings mostly during the decoration phase—the ideas and images from other real weddings gave me the inspiration to shape the style I had always dreamed of.»

My advice to a bride currently planning her wedding is to make it the way the two of you dream it and not the way it’s “supposed” to be. Don’t stress over every little detail, because what stays with you in the end is the love, the joy, and the people who were there for you.
