A wedding radiating romance and minimal chic elegance unfolded in the enchanting setting of Chania, where Rachel and Cory lived out their perfect day of love. Every detail was beautifully curated by Crete for Love, while Andreas Markakis Photography captured the unforgettable moments so beautifully! White anthuriums, pale yellow roses and white orchids came together to create a dreamy floral concept for both the ceremony and the reception. A lovely floral pillar framed the entrance to the venue, while the reception table featured an elegant centerpiece blending the same hues with modern touches. The minimal chic aesthetic, the warm atmosphere, and their one-of-a-kind love story make this wedding truly unforgettable!

«We met when we was in school. Nine years after leaving school we reconnected and fell inlove. Our engagement story is quite unique. Four weeks before our holiday to Greece, I had the idea to get married while on our trip. Cory loved the idea and we booked the full wedding a couple of days after with Creteforlove. Very spontaneous but felt very us. However, before I proposed this idea, I had no idea that Cory had already bought an engagement ring, with his plan to ask while on holiday. Cory propose in our home on a sunny Sunday morning in our kitchen while we made coffee. Just us. It was perfect. Three weeks later we got married.»

I found the greek site Love4Weddings website while looking for Greek wedding inspiration.

«For my wedding decoration I was very specific especially for the flowers. I asked for an arch and bouquet of big pale yellow roses, white orchids and white anthurium. Paired with black ribbon wrapped round the bridal bouquet.»

«My favourite moment of my wedding was saying our vows, that we’d written on the beach onto postcards earlier that morning.»

Our wedding planner Crete for Love planned our whole wedding from start to finish. We married in the afternoon so had the full day to relax and get ready.

«As I only had a month until the wedding, I needed a wedding dress quickly. Along side that, I hadn’t told anyone our plans to marry. I ordered a beautiful wedding dress from an online shop called House of CB. The dress had an ivory corset with a beautiful draped satin skirt. It was perfect.»
