This time, it clicked and a month later, we were officially a couple. Marko and I spent a few days in Venice for my 30th birthday. On my birthday, we went on a gondola ride and he proposed to me.»
The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her weddings is do not get too hung up on details, trust your wedding planners and be open to other ideas. Spend the day enjoying it and surround yourself only with people who are good for you and dear to your heart. It’s your day, not theirs.

We also thought the place and our location were a great choice. Since some towns on Santorini are quite touristy and busy, Akrotiri and the Akrorama Suite were the perfect choice for a quiet, secluded wedding without the hustle and bustle of strangers.
