«We met at a wedding in Dubai. Daniel was living there and I was living in London. We did long distance for a year or so and then I moved to Dubai. Daniel proposed privately in a decorated suite at the four seasons resort in Dubai.»

«The main wedding dress and veil for the church ceremony was from Pronovias. I wanted a special feel and a grandiose aura around the whole occasion. It felt quite traditional in the right way. My second dress was from Vivienne Westwood. It was perfect for the first dance and the party into the early hours.»

Our favorite moment from the wedding is in the church wedding ceremony at the Russian Orthodox Church was very special. The crowning in matrimony was a very unique and special moment. After that our couple entrance and the party afterwards was the highlight. Speeches and first dance were memorable too.

«The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to get a good wedding planner that understands your vision without micromanaging and trust the process. It will all work out in the end.»

«We didn’t have any specific ideas about wedding decorations as we are not very good with that sort of stuff. We wanted pastel colours liked baby pink and pale green and peach, nothing too harsh or bright to complement the Cypriot nature. Our wedding planners came up with the whole concept and design and they got it perfectly right. Splendid Events understood exactly what we were after. The bridal bouquets were simply white roses which went well with the green of the bridesmaid dresses and the white and black of the rest of the bridal party.»
