«We met while at university in a nightclub when I and Trent was celebrating her 21st birthday, but in truth I had seen Jamie before that and was desperate to meet me. We fell for each other immediately and found every excuse possible to see each other. Trent proposed to me on the island of Antigua while we were on holiday. We walked to a natural rock bridge and after strategically setting up the camera Trent proposed while on the rock bridge with the waves crashing underneath us.»

Lefkas Weddings shared with us: «Trent and Jamie-Leigh’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration of love and togetherness, set on the stunning Greek island of Lefkada. Surrounded by 40 of their dearest family and friends from South Africa and London, the couple felt truly blessed to have so many loved ones travel from afar to share in their special day.The bride began her day at the exquisite De Sun Suites, perched high on the hillside, offering breathtaking views of the private islands, including the legendary Skorpios, once owned by Aristotle Onassis and Jackie Kennedy. The preparation suite was filled with excitement and anticipation as Jamie-Leigh got ready with her bridesmaids, setting the stage for an unforgettable day.The wedding style was classic black tie, with elegant decor featuring white and green florals, creating a timeless and sophisticated atmosphere. Jamie-Leigh made her entrance island style, arriving at the ceremony on a traditional caique boat with her father and bridesmaids. The ceremony itself was incredibly heartfelt and emotional. As Jamie-Leigh walked down the aisle, Jamie couldn’t help but brush away tears, overwhelmed with his first sight of his bride. It was a touching moment that captured the essence of their deep connection and commitment to one another. The reception was a culinary delight by the Seaside team, featuring amazing contemporary Greek cuisine paired with wines from Semeli and Avantis Greek wineries. The guests were treated to a three-course meal that celebrated the flavours of the region, with their favourite seafood and fish dishes. To kick off the festivities, Trent and Jamie-Leigh shared their first dance on the terrace, accompanied by a dazzling display of fireworks that lit up the night sky. The party continued well into the night, with everyone revelling in the joyous atmosphere and the couple’s happiness. Trent and Jamie-Leigh’s wedding day in Lefkada was a perfect blend of love, elegance, and heartfelt moments, leaving lasting memories for all who were fortunate enough to be part of their incredible journey.»

«My wedding dress was designed by Maggie Sotero. I chose it with my mom and sister. It was the first wedding dress I tried on and from that moment I knew it was the dress for me. We all said ‘Yes to the dress!’»

«The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to find a wedding planner which is essential and enjoy every second of the day as it flies by.»

Our favorite moment was our first dance so magical! Everything faded out and all we focused on was each other. The moment was entirely ours.
