Penny and Grigoris’ autumn wedding in the picturesque village of Oitylo in Laconia was a celebration filled with warmth and authentic beauty, captivating everyone from the very first moment. Radiant with happiness, the couple walked down the aisle, sealing their love in the most dazzling way. The stone-built chapel was adorned with rich and striking floral arrangements featuring red and beige roses, orange chrysanthemums, white anthuriums, and eucalyptus — creating a vivid autumnal setting. This decorative theme flowed seamlessly into the reception, where the space was brought to life with bursts of color thanks to the creative touch of ManiDeco Wedding Planning & Styling. The groom looked effortlessly elegant in a light beige suit by Dressman that perfectly complemented the natural tones of the season. The evening reached its peak with the couple’s first dance and a night of lively celebration that gifted unforgettable moments to everyone who joined in!

«I met Grigoris when we were students at the University, and we’ve been together ever since—for 15 years now. Two years ago, during a trip to Egypt, he proposed in a way I will never forget. We were in the Siwa Desert, and he had lit fires in the sand forming a heart. In the center of that heart, with the ring in his hands, he was waiting for me—ready to write the most beautiful chapter of our lives.»

«My bridal bouquet was simple and natural, in a boho style with earthy tones like terracotta, brown, and green. The ceremony took place in the main church in the village—a stunning Byzantine stone-built church, with its courtyard hanging over the cliff and the bay of Oitylo stretching below, creating a scene of unmatched beauty. In such a magical setting, we didn’t need many decorative elements. That was actually my favorite part of the decor, along with the arrangement at the church entrance, where clay pots were filled with flowers that matched the bouquet’s style. Everything felt so natural and in harmony with the surroundings, like it belonged there, highlighting the beauty of the space without any excess.»

«My favorite moment from the wedding was when I was walking down the church steps and saw Grigoris waiting for me…»

My advice to future brides is to see this day as one to savor, moment by moment and to focus on what truly matters—the people who are there with them and the moments they share, because they will be unique. With that mindset, I let go of all stress and had the most amazing time! Of course, having the right beauty professionals by my side made a big difference.

«My wedding dress was a creation by Mary Barola. She was the first designer I visited—and the last. That’s because I fell in love with the dress instantly! I had gone in thinking I would choose something very simple, just a plain satin gown. But when the atelier’s experienced consultant, convinced me to try this one on, I lit up completely—and I knew: “This is it!” The fit felt like it was made just for me. Its airy lace, soft subtle sparkle and understated style—just the way I like it—made it absolutely perfect for me.»

«All of our vendors were amazing. I recommend them without hesitation because they made me feel safe with their professionalism. I would choose every single one of them again and again!»
