It won’t take long before this destination wedding in Tinos takes your breath away! Faith and Madison’s beautiful celebration on this picturesque Greek island was nothing short of a dream come true for romance lovers. Captured flawlessly by Nian Photography, their special day was thoughtfully planned by Be Our Guest and adorned with stunning floral creations in soft yellow and white by Levanta Events. «Creating an intimate atmosphere was important to us and we envisioned a wedding that would celebrate the “joys of gathering”» the bride shared—and that heartfelt vision came to life in every detail. From a romantic proposal at a Greek restaurant in Vietnam to a wedding that drew inspiration from Tinos itself, the décor harmonized with the island’s natural beauty using locally sourced bougainvillea, wildflowers and fragrant herbs like rosemary and thyme, infusing the setting with both color and aroma. Guests were treated to a flavorful feast curated by Exo Catering, rounding out an unforgettable celebration of love, connection and the magic of the Aegean.

«Madison and I first crossed paths at university through a mutual friend. Though we attended separate schools in distant cities, our friendship flourished and we stayed in touch until graduation. Once we both finished our studies, our connection grew, and we quickly began dating. Four years later, during a memorable trip to Vietnam, Madison proposed under the guise of a “photoshoot.” The wedding proposal itself was as romantic as the setting—a charming Greek restaurant nestled by the ocean, housed in a beautiful white-and-blue limestone building that seemed as though it had been transported directly from the shores of Greece. As if the moment wasn’t magical enough, Madison had planned a surprise—an intimate rooftop dinner for just the two of us, where we celebrated the beginning of our next chapter together.»

For our international celebration, we chose to keep the guest list intimate, inviting only our closest family and friends. Creating an intimate atmosphere was important to us and we envisioned a wedding that would celebrate the “joys of gathering.” Every design element was curated to reflect this theme.

«Our vision was for the wedding to feel as though it were an organic part of the venue, blending seamlessly with the arid terrain and the breathtaking ocean views. To achieve this, we chose a neutral color palette of muted tones—soft tans, light pinks, olive greens, and gentle oranges, that reflected the natural hues of the island.»

«I knew from the start that I wanted my wedding dress to reflect the overall vibe of our celebration, something timeless and elegant, yet with a hint of modern flair. Our wedding venue and décor had this dreamy, light-as-air feel that added a subtle touch of casual charm to an otherwise refined setting, and I wanted my look to echo that balance. On the big day, I wore a stunning ivory satin ball gown with delicate straps and a beautifully structured basque waist. It struck the perfect harmony between classic and contemporary. Instead of a traditional veil, I chose a soft neck scarf to add an unexpected, laid-back touch to the ensemble. It felt effortlessly chic and truly like me, a perfect complement to the atmosphere we had created.»

«The advice I would give to a bride who is now planning her wedding is to plan a wedding can be a very stressful process whether it is a destination or local wedding. But what truly makes all the difference is having the right team by your side. When you surround yourself with experienced, passionate professionals who genuinely care about your vision, it lifts a huge weight off your shoulders. I feel incredibly grateful to have worked with such a talented, dedicated group of vendors. Their attention to detail, creativity, and genuine love for what they do made all the difference. They didn’t just help bring our day to life, they made it better than we could have imagined.»

«It was essential that the décor harmonized with the natural beauty of Tinos and so we drew inspiration from the island itself. We incorporated locally sourced flowers and greenery native to Greece, including Bougainvillea, wildflowers, and fragrant herbs like rosemary and thyme, which not only captured the essence of the landscape but also added an aromatic touch to the surroundings. To infuse a sense of romance, we adorned the pergola ceiling with delicate fairy lights and scattered hundreds of candles throughout the space, enveloping the area in a warm, intimate glow. The combination of soft lighting and the flicker of candlelight created a magical atmosphere that felt both personal and enchanting. Texture played an important role in our décor choices as well. I wanted the elements to feel rich and tactile, so I opted for luxurious, thicker linens for the tablecloths and napkins. Personalized cloth menu cards and a linen wedding welcome sign further elevated the theme, tying everything together beautifully and adding a thoughtful, handcrafted touch to the celebration.»

It’s nearly impossible to choose just one favorite moment, but if I had to, I’d say the reception dinner and the dance party that followed were truly unforgettable. In keeping with our theme, “the joys of gathering,” we opted for a family-style meal, where loved ones passed plates, shared stories and truly connected. It was a heartfelt nod to traditional Greek dining, a custom close to my heart. We partnered with Exo Catering, who crafted an elevated Greek menu using locally sourced ingredients. The result? A dinner that had our guests absolutely raving.

«Then came the dance party and wow, what a night. We flew in an incredible EDM artist from Mykonos, John from Aslanis Events, who transformed our romantic outdoor venue into an electric dream. With a mix of vibrant strobe lights, moving beams and pulsing beats, it felt like stepping into an island nightclub. My husband and I are huge EDM fans, so having John there was a dream come true. And the cherry on top? Silent disco headphones that let us dance under the stars long after quiet hours kicked in. It was such a unique, thoughtful touch—and judging by the nonstop smiles and the dance floor that never emptied, it was a major hit.»
