The civil wedding of Mary and Kostas in Igoumenitsa was filled with warmth, romance and heartfelt emotion. Having shared part of their life together in Spain, the couple wanted to bring the spirit of that chapter into their big day, choosing a boho chic aesthetic and a vibrant color palette that reflected the passion and energy of Spanish culture. The stunning decor by Elpida Salouka blended beautifully with the springtime setting, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Bold orange, red, and yellow blooms—like roses, ranunculus, and craspedia—brought a joyful burst of color to the celebration. As the bride shared, «One of the things we have in common is our love for flowers, so naturally they were everywhere—from the ceremony to the reception. We chose yellow and orange tones, our favorite colors, which also remind us of Spain!» This wedding was a true celebration of love that left a lasting impression on every guest. Come experience each beautiful moment from this unforgettable day!

«We met in 2015 in Thessaloniki, one night at a bar. For the first two years, we were in a long-distance relationship—Chania-Thessaloniki, Madrid-Athens. In 2017, we decided to live together in Madrid. That was our first big step. During those four years, we grew stronger as a couple and created memories that will stay with us forever. We moved back to Greece in 2021, and in 2023, Kostas proposed in the city where it all began. On a balcony overlooking Aristotelous Square, with the sun setting behind Mount Olympus and the sea stretching out below us, he gave me the engagement ring and I said yes.»

«I followed the greek site Love4Weddings throughout the planning process, and it gave me so many ideas for the style and decor.»

«Our wedding was a civil ceremony led by a celebrant. The overall style was boho chic with pops of color. We especially loved the two floral pillars we stood in front of during the ceremony, beautifully designed by Elpida Salouka.»

«We chose to get married in Igoumenitsa, the town where I was born and raised. Many friends from Spain, Italy, Mexico, Canada and more came to celebrate with us. The wedding party went on until the early morning hours.»

«My wedding dress was a custom-made piece by Luccia B. I fell in love with her design from the first moment I saw it. She understood exactly what I wanted and tailored it just for me. Every appointment with her was such a beautiful experience—just as special as the dress itself. I felt like myself in it. The main fabric was crepe, which made it minimal and comfortable, and with the addition of organza on the top and at the train, it felt lighter and more ethereal. I truly enjoyed wearing it all night long.»

«We couldn’t possibly choose just one favorite moment from our wedding. But if we had to, it would be the glance we shared right before the ceremony started, and our first dance.»

My advice to any bride planning her wedding is to enjoy the whole process of preparation and research, because it’s part of the experience. Be decisive, stay calm and focus on having a good time with your partner because if you’re both happy, everyone else will be too.
